Girfriend spilled red wine on my favorite shorts... she is in trouble and has to buy me a new pair... We are having trouble finding them.

Details:

Nike shorts size XXL
Cargo style with 4 standard pockets plus 1 "cargo" pocket on the left side
Draw string waist
Off white color

I have ref's @ Heat under "grkmec"

Edit: To receive reward you must provide with link with place I can buy them and they are in stock... or if you find them locally, I will pay for you to ship them

Before you spend the $$ on a new pair have you tried to get the stain out?

I have gotten deep red stains out before of white and cream clothes.

Use some spray and wash, rub it in the stained area leave for @15 mins then soak over night in a sink w/ Oxy Clean. The Oxy Clean will tell you how much to use.

I have yet to not get a stain out this way.

where can I get oxyclean ? i dont have any and its pretty late...

Ross, thanks for the links, but did'nt find them 🙁

Wal-Mart, pretty much any grocery store.

Just make sure you rinse it right away in COLD water, hot water will set a stain and no matter what don't put them in the dryer until you are 100% sure the stain is gone. As the heat from the dryer will set it.

You probably already know that but just incase not. Would rather sound bossy than you find out later.

I would also recommend SOAKING the shorts in oxyclean with cold water, soaking as in submerging underwater.

If you use oxyclean to clean up some stain on my carpet, should I use cold water then? *confused*

Ok ummm let me clairfy. I said rinse the stain in Cold water first.

Then spray w/ spay n wash/shout whatever, then soak in Oxy Clean over night in sink according to directions.

I use Oxy Clean on my carpets in my steam cleaner w/ boiling water works great.

But with Blood/Red stains on clothes you have do to use cold water for the first rinse or it can be there forever.

I am not saying this will work 100% but for me personally it has worked on everything. I have yet to not get a stain out after soaking in Oxy Clean. A little elbow grease is involved in trying to get as much of the stain out to begin with but I am assuming he has already been trying this.

what was it about these shorts that you would be willing to offer such a reward?

They fit really well and are really useful for carrying lots of stuff around.

Any update on if the stain came out or if the same shorts were found elsewhere?

After soaking in the bathroom sink all night in spray and wash, the stains came out... I never did find them online anywhere
