Does anyone know if dell do the samsung 170t flat panel monitor? I tried to find it on their home and home office site but couldnt. The contrast ratio on the 170t is 400:1, the 1701fp is only 300:1, and Im just not sure in going with the planar 17" deal. So if anyone buys a fp from dell on this deal, please say so here and if you can see the 170t, thanks!

:)

aks93 - Just got in my 1701FP refurb today. No indication its a refurb at all, and the manufacture date was 6/2001!!!! I don't think its a refurb.

It's beautiful, no complaints whatsoever. It's got DVI and analog and there's a switch so you can use both at once, to two machines. native res of 1280x1024... I'm so happy. Got it for 680 with free shipping and 40$ tax to IL through small biz. you can get it for 640.

Anyone know if Dell'll PM home with small biz seeing as how I just got it today from small biz?

The 19" Samsung 955DF monitor comes out to $242.36 w/ free shipping. If you throw in the $20 dollar rebate here you get it for $222.36!!! Too bad i just bought this monitor for $270...

Same here, you win some you lose some. Fortunately it was for a friend and not for myself. If I were buying it for me I'd be REALLY pissed.

Dell P991 $367
Viewsonic PF790 $313
Samsung 900NF $340
Nokia 446 Pro $358
NEC FE 950+ $275
Samsung 955DF $242 ($20 MIR available)

Which of these is the best deal ?

I am familiar with the Dell P991, and I know that it is a great monitor, but are some are the cheaper models close enough in quality to still be great deals?

Yeah I am interested in the Dell p991 and the Samsung 900nf.

Is the P991 really the same as the Sony g400? Is it made in Japan or Mexico?

I've should waited for these deal.....
I bought the Planar 17" while the 20% was still up in the business section for 700 bucks. Doh!!
Now it costs only 630 bucks (free shipping, no tax).
Could dell give me back my 70 bucks??

Thanks for the deal. I got myself a nice 21in SONY G520 monitor for only 680. See my post!

Also i just want to mention that the deal is 20% off, not 20 dollars off. So buying a 19in. monitor that cost only 400 bux will only save you 80 bux, while buying a 21in monitor that cost 800+ will save you about 200 dollars.

I chose to save 200 dollars on the deal instead of 80. Plus the 21in ones are so much better. If i had money, i would get those $7K plasma displays....(i think you get my point now)

I just bought the Samsung 900NF yesterday -- due to be delviered tomarrow for $339. Hope I like it.

Also, The HP932C is $70 after rebate if my math is correct, not $80. :)
Ink alone would cost about $50 (new cartridges that is). I already have a 930C so I assume this one is no better. How about the Epson 780 for $119 ? Better then my 930c maybe ? Dang it stop buying stop buying ...........

Staples carries the Midiland S4 8200 which Dell has...
would come out to about $270 - $40 for a total of about $230...

Pretty amazing for what seem to be very very good speakers.

Seeing this coupon posted i am thinking that the time to buy an LCD monitor is now or sometime soon.

I was eyeing the planar LCD or what is that samsung people have been talking about?
Do the people with the planar LCDs like em?
how do they look?
should i buy and LCD now i wont need it till the school year starts, but will i likely see a better price?

if not im gonna pick one up from dell.com with the 20% off.thanks
