FW is shorthand for a particular competing message board. They have a healthy "hot deals" forum of their own, over there. Also, they go by different rules, so coupon codes disallowed here will often show up at FW. I guess the idea behind their site is that hot deals, in effect, fatten your wallet. Allowing people to post coupons, and therefore stretch their dollars, keeps their wallets less "skinny," so to speak.

ANYWAY, so there's an analogous thread on FW. Search for "Eddie Bauer".

These eddiebauer deals can be good. Of course, the high shipping and handling costs eat into the deal, but the coupon code still ends up being worth about $12 of credit

yeah, in the other thread about this i mentioned the fact that you can get a long sleeve button up plaid shirt for around $14.00 shipped, which isn't too bad, their shirts last forever

Thanks! For ~$14 I got a stretch velvet tunic (yes, I'm female) and a polartec earband ... it was cheapest thing I could find on their site - the tunic was $19.99, not quite enough...the earband was $3.50 or so. Guess my ears will be warm this winter ;) Or maybe I'll just store it with the dart tips I picked up from Dick's Sporting Goods on that Talkabout deal...hehehe.

Got a pair of pants for $29.00 - $20.00 coupon + shipping/handling + tax = $19.95. Not bad, but could have been better.
