But please tell me that the torrent isn't the same ~400 xvid re-encode.

HD does not look like HD when re-encoded, I want the 1.2 gig real HD version. 🙂

I just started it now (had to clear off my hd) and i'm connected to 24 seeds, 83 peers so far.

Game looks good, the indoor/dungeon areas look like doom 3-esque graphics/environments. But the outdoor/forest area is absolutely AMAZING. I cant believe how good that looks, i think most of the game should take place outside, and i wish you would fight people instead of skeletons...so cliche blah.
 
Dang, I gotta start up the torrent. I'm positive my system will be subpar for this game, but I gotta see it anyways.
 
I'm having trouble starting up the torrent...anyone else having this trouble? I think the tracker may have been taken down..
 
It is using the Pirate Bay tracker which currently has 874,885 peers connected :Q

It is showing the tracker as down, but I'm sure it is temporary.

 
That looks pretty amazing. I'm playing through Morrowind on Xbox right now, and it's pretty fun. But Oblivion looks truly incredible with the new graphics, physics and AI.

I just started the download with Firefox 1.07 with no problem here. Looks like about 250K/sec.
 
I DL'd the 1.3GB DVD image... Nice :thumbsup:

I think the presentation was actually done on a PC based on the fact that he is using a cursor to navigate the menus.

Now I just have to decide on whether to get the PC or 360 version...




 
Just watched the 1.2GB+ iso file and yeah, it looks bad ass! Not my type of game, but the graphics look VERY nice. ESPECIALLY the outdoor scene!
