Montgomery, Al is not a very happy place. I'd be much happier in Atlanta than Montgomery, except for the ATL traffic.
 
Los Angeles, CA is a depressed city? Actually, now that I think of it, with open season on our freeways, I guess I shouldn't be surprised.
 
Jersey City is number 3?

They must have just gone to the yuppie parts of it near the water because there are some scary, rundown places in JC.
 
Buffalo made the list of top 20 happiest cities? I honestly expected it to show up on the top 20 depressed cities. I am truly amazed.

I guess if you overlook the destroyed economy and abhorrent county/city mismanagement, it's not that bad of a place to live.
