Hercules Prophet Geforce 3 on a AMD 1.2ghz, my OS is Windows XP pro. Now before I had XP installed I was running 98se and this video card gave me 125 to 75 fps steady with no problems. Ive tried the newest and even went back to some of the older drivers and this hasnt helped. I wanna say its the video card itself but before I come to that conclusion I wanna see what you guys think.

Do you have the latest BIOS and chipset drivers for your motherboard?
Also check to see if your card isn't in PCI mode.

I have the latest 4 in 1 drivers installed already but how would I go about checking to see if my cards in PCI mode or not????

Do you have FSAA enabled in Nvidia display properties? Try turning it off.

Run dxdiag and see if the card passes all the Direct3D tests (and all of the features are enabled).

Alternatively you can run a Quake3 based game and scroll up in the console after it starts and see if the card it identifies has a "PCI" at the end instead of "AGP".
