Great deal even if you just end up playing and/or liking a handful of the games.

"Eidos Everything Pack" $99 at SteamPowered.com

- These games range from a few months old to a few years old.
- Most have pretty good reviews (70-90%). Review scores are on the page.
- Recent ones might require good video cards, but a lot of these should run smoothly on older systems no problem.
-- Note, this might end up being a 40+ GB combined download, but once you buy the package, you can download them one at a time, and you keep the license to download the others in the future.
- According to site, individual current price would be: $389.80

GAMES INCLUDED:
Battlestations: Midway
Commandos 2: Men of Courage
Commandos 3: Destination Berlin
Commandos: Behind Enemy Lines
Commandos: Beyond the Call of Duty
Commandos: Strike Force
Conflict: Denied Ops

more like range from over a decade old to a few very low rated couple month old games. I played the commando games back in the 90s and they were pretty fun

There are a few gems in this package: Theif, the Hitman series, and Deus X. Most of the others I haven't played, Kane and Lynch didn't look that great to me despite all the hype. Despite this if you were looking to get quite a few of these games... for $100 that's a lot of game. Basically $5 per game.

When is Valve going to put SS2 on Steam? They'd make ridiculous amounts of money. Granted, they'd have to tweak it properly to run on the standard computer, but if anyone can do it it's Valve. Hell they could just buy the license to the source code with the amount of dough they're rolling in. :p

I get access to most of those games on gametap for 5.00 a month.
Well worth the subscription .
Its only 99 cent for the first month to try it.

I don't think this is a good deal at all. Why pay $100 for 20 mediocre old games when you can get 3 outstanding games for that much.

Plus compare it to the Orange Box which you can get for $30. The Orange Box comes with 5 outstanding games that are all better and newer than anything on the list.

There's a couple of titles I'd love to see, including SS2. One of the others is X-com 1, at last check I had only seen 2 "Terror from the Deep".

GameTap for 900+ other games besides these for $60 for one year.

Sure it's a rental service, but you can take the other $39 to buy the couple of games you might ever want to replay.

The only game in that entire list I don't already have & might like to play is Thief: Deadly Shadows so I think I'll pass ... still it sounds like a pretty hot deal for anyone interested in several of them,

Newer but not better. For me and many others, Deus Ex was one of if not the best game ever created. I like orange box, but no game in there can compare to deus ex in terms of sheer awesomeness.

Apparently you haven't listened to the song at the end of Portal! Now that is sheer awesomeness! :) Truth be told, there isn't much in this pack that I care for other than DX/DX2 . I bought both when they were new, but I'd like to have 'em in my Steam account. I think next time I'm sitting on some dough I'll grab 'em just to have 'em. :)

For anyone who does bite on this, you should be careful with the installation of Commandos 3: Destination Berlin. I don't know how Steam works in terms of installation, but I remember installing Commandos 3: Destination Berlin, and the uninstaller does not remove the game after you are done. The uninstaller says that the uninstall was completed, but the files remain on the system. Someone on a forum figured out most of the files that needed to be removed manually, but it was a real pain.

My best friend google pulls this up:

Ehh...most of those games I've either played already or don't want to play. Doesn't seem like a good deal to me. I'd rather spend $100 on two great $50 titles in retail boxes.
