20 AA-Batts, free after rebate

I was just at the CC B&amp;M in West L.A. and they have 20-packs for $8.99, with a full $8.99 rebate. Total cost is <$1 tax. Not bad...now I can run my Rio for days!

Should be, they printed out the rebate from the register. It was in an ad in today's paper. Also had a mic/headset (for nokia phones) (with full rebate), but it was sold out in west L.A.

Maverick319 is correct. Last year I got in on the Memorex (I think) 20 AA Alky batteries for free. Picked up 2 packs of them. Still haven't opened them thanks to the 12 batteries I got 2 years ago from the site mentioned in Maverick319's link. Even after 2 years they are like new, and have MUCH more power than any alky battery could ever have.
