20-30k to spend on a convertible, what to get?

Having done this once in my life already.. Go with the Porsche.

Killer cars, great sounds hard to beat..It will be used but should be able to find one in great shape..

I drove the shit out of mine but maintained it as well.
 
Your first mistake if you had a convertible Mustang before was getting a convertible. All unibody convertibles that were not meant to be convertibles from day one (like Boxster, Miata, S2000, etc) are absolutely horrible. You can't just cut the top off two years after introducing a coupe and expect to handle well.
