Well logitech sure got their money's worth out of me. I estimate that in the 5 hours I tried this I hit their website ~500,000 times and it didn't crash. Pretty good. So is Logitech gonna start selling network solutions next? Oh well, no prize for me thanks to NY's sucky laws. Grats to all that one, give this my vote for deal of the year!

Whoo-hoo! Got mine at exactly 5:00 pm after what I calculated to be around 2500+ attempts! I have NO IDEA how some of you got 12 of these. I was beginning to form a devious plot to actually try to use 2500 of those 20% off rebates in an anarchical plot to take down logitech, but I'll be happy now that I've got a cordless kb/mouse.

Sorry, but contests aren't really good deals for 99% of the people...

But a lot of other deals are basically contests to see if the company will honor the deal. Some people squeak through with the great price whereas others get cancelled. Same thing as this IMO.

I think they were using some sort of anti-macro tool(possibly logging IPs). I tried:
20 minutes backspace/enter
20 minutes F5/enter
40 minutes 20 frames on a P3 733 win98se, at about 2 frames per second
20 minutes 40 frames on a P3 733 win98se, at about 1.5 frames per second
40 minutes 40 frames on a athlonxp 2400+ win2k, at about 8 frames per second(and no screwups like on my win98se, where I had to re-enter the info a bunch of times)


All in all, I got zero, countem zero wins. I IMed my friend 30 mins before it was over and he got 2(one for me, yay!) in the next 30 mins.

Whew! All said and done, I HAD 4 winners.....refreshed over the first two . 20 frame page got me one, and the 40 frame page got one for a Hottie I used to work with but still talk to from time to time

I feel good because I won one, but also pretty stupid because I refreshed by the winning screen twice.....and also because I spent freakin 5 hours clicking F5/enter.....

Maybe this was just a ploy by logitech to kill your keyboard so you'd have to go 6-8 weeks without one

OK, I won 2, one sent to my dad, hope he likes it...

Now, I still haven't gotten an email to either email address. Are they sending confirmation emails or not? Only possible response to the last inquiry was "I got on in 30 minutes" but that might have meant "I won one after 30 minutes of trying" and not have been regarding email at all.

I won 2, got ~25 for friends in the office. It was really funny the network admin, setup up a program to automatically update webpages if nothing had changed, he was pushing 3 hits per second. Didn't win a single one.
