Jeez, I set a frames page with 20 of these on it, so I submit 20 at a time, and I've been doing it for 40 minutes and still haven't won.

I think he means that there's a unique code for each "win", so if you submit like 3 addresses for the same "win" they catch you.

btw: does anyone else have problems getting the site?

Oh sure, like nobody's ever manipulated a deal before. All's fair in this forum as long as it's legal.

Back mouse button on my Logitech mouse is faster than F5+Enter for me. More legit too? I tried making contest_result.html my homepage and opening it up in new browsers. Got a 403 (Forbidden).

CHAOSMAN, how did you set up a macro?

HELL YES

btw:

using mozilla. i have an optical mouse so i just took it off the pad and held it with it over the refresh button, click, hit enter (to verify re-submitting form data)

click enter [see not winner] click enter [see not winner] click enter

etc

good thing about mozilla verifying before resubmitting form data is that when the winner FINALLY popped up, i just hit escape instead of enter. ROCK :D

Here's a look at snippets of the source of the winner submition page:

//form name="winnerform" action="/winner_registration.htm" method="post" onsubmit="return validate(this)"
//input type="hidden" name="key" value="XXXXXXXX-XXXX-XXXX-XXXXXXXXXXXXXXXX"

where the XXXXX's are the hidden key. Not to alarm anyone, but submitting two addresses for one value is NOT a good idea.

So... umm that loophole thing you were thinking of guys won't work. And you are probably out of a keyboard&mouse now if you did. I was about to do this before I checked heh. So I got 3 the legit way.

To those saying I am greedy... umm go to READ the rules on the logitech page. It says you CAN leave and re-enter the site as much as you want until you get a winner page.

Wether you believe it or not , some people are honest.

No biggie though , lets not get into an argument about it.

greedy or not that's subjective, but I don't see how that rule contradicts it. besides, you dont have to break a rule to be greedy.

personally i dont care though so don't think i'm flaming you :)

I just won twice, well the first time I missed the page I was pressing F5 and enter so many time I got into a rhythm while listening to the music and I missed the page, I was determined to win after losing that and I did in about 25 min later, (California)

CHAOSMAN, how did you set up a macro?

macroing doesnt really help it just f5 and refresh for me automatically except its a bad idea because if i win and i dont catch it, it will refresh the page and i will loose it, i have a feeling i won but missed it so im doing it manually now, you can use any macro program search on google, but its not gonna work.

I could care less, really, but read the sentence above yourself.

CAN leave and re-enter the site as much as you want until you get a winner page

Which, if you've won 3 times, I believe you've gotten the winner's page.

Woohoo!!! I'm in. For those of you that haven't won yet, keep trying! No need for loopholes or cheating. Just as I was about to give up, it came through. This is definitely a hot deal, and a great way for logitech to get their name out there (other manufacturers, are you listening?).
