Ive read someplace's that it is not possible, and some places said i could load it onto the memory card.

for games like gears 2. I wanna play with the GF online with others... and we cant because it requires each user to have there own XBL account.

Definitely possible. Quit reading wherever you read that. 🙂

EDIT: No memory card required, either. The memory card is only if you want to easily transport your Live gamertag profile to another 360 machine.

Live accounts are not tied to a 360, you can go a a friend's house and pull up your GT on his console.

Yep, my friend has an account on mine and I have one on his. Now if I could only figure out how to delete the one he created in error while drunk! 😛

I think you guys are misunderstanding the OP. He simply wants 2 paid Live gold accounts on the same system so him and his woman can play split-screen on Live.

It's sad that not many games support guest passes on Live these days.

That's what they are saying. It can be done. I've done it multiple times with my buddy so we can play ranked games in Halo 3. You can do a "recovery" of your gamertag on a friend's box and it will allow you both to sign in, each with separate paid gold accounts.

Not only that, but it seems like many games that support split-screen local multiplayer don't support split-screen Live multiplayer even with two Gold accounts. 🙁

Or don't even support LAN games with split screen. COD4 will only allow onle player per xbox in a lan game.

Ok it does work.. just sux because they basically force us to buy an extra account. when its not needed... they wonder why halo sold like crazy
