2 x 512 MB and 2 x 256 MB XMS

I have an Abit Av8 (k8t800 pro Athlon 64) Motherboard.

My question is this...

Will things run ok with slots 1 and 2 filled with 1 stick each of Corsair 512MB Cas 2.5 Value memory (unbuffered) Both memory is PC400 (3200)

and slots 3 and 4 filled with 1 stick each of Corsair 256MB XMS buffered matched memory?

If not, what would the the best for a gaming oriented machine?

Go with 1GB (2 x 512) of the Value select memroy? (will it work ok since it is not buffered?)

Or just stick with the 512MB (2 x 256) Matched buffered memory?
