2 Windows/Office Basic Questions

How can I change the Registered owner in Win 2000 as well as change the owner to whom MS Office 2000/XP was registered to ?

I know its a simple process , but I can't quite remember how to do it

Try and search for the current user name in regedit and then replace it with the new name.

I trust you haven't hijacked a system from someone.

Windows 2000 / Xp --> \LOCAL MACHINE\SOFTWARE\MICROSOFT\WINDOWS NT\Currentversion
Office 2000/XP --> \LOCAL MACHINE\SOFTWARE\WINDOWS\CURRENTVERSION\Installer\Userdata\s1xx\products\
