2 sweet burn outs then a guy in a Ferrari tries it....

LOL! More money than sense obviously. That other guy probably had slicks on the drag car, which need to be hot, but how could you even try that on those expensive street tires? It looks like he might even have had the traction control on... should have spun up immediately with all that power.

Ahh that would explain it...I was wondering why he didn't even really screech his tires...I can do that in my Accord easily.
 
The tires have nothing to do with it, he had the LC on on the mantinetto in the Ferrari and then could not handle the torque steer.

Stupid? no. Inexperienced? yes
 
Seen it before but laugh everytime, rich people with more money then sense that think just because they dropped a couple hundred K makes them bad@$$ and therefore able to do what other people with probably yrs of exp can do.

I wasn't saying the tires meant he couldn't do a burnout, just that he shouldn't, because they're expensive, and street tires and don't really need to be heated before they will grip.

I thought the traction control might have caused the car to behave like that, but hey, it's not like I've ever driven one.

What's LC? Mantinetto? It turns up no results on google.

LC is launch control, dunno what mantinetto is. The car was a 360 Modena.
 
Driver error...seriously don't people that purchase high end cars take some advanced driving classes? I know if I were to purchase a super car, I'd register at Skip's class or attend some driving clinics to get the most out of my car.

Yep launch control and I am spelling it wrong but the mentinetto (?) is Ferarri's system for selecting driving mode.

He probably was drunk
 
Manettino. Anyway...shouldn't have been torque steer. The car is RWD.

Chances are though the guy didn't know how to drive.

When you are under a hard burnout, your rear end is not really stuck to the road at all.
 
What a moron....if you see/feel yourself heading off the track, move your damn foot over to the brake and use the other leg you see down there to press the clutch pedal. Not that freaking hard.
 
The guy was sawing the wheel back and forth to try to make more of a burnout and lost it.

Of course that Ferrari didn't have the nuts of those drag cars, and the stupid driver was trying anything to get the rear end to break loose and make more smoke. Looks like the dumbass had the TC on though.

looks like he went offroad first though.

I love those throwing out TC and LC stuff on a forum of those that are probably not drivers.

Many of the upper echelon here probably have a daily driver (DD), a weekend car, a street bike, a SUV and a boat/yacht.
