2 Quick Questions

1. My mom's comp was messed a few weeks ago. Yea, it was just sitting up there, with us being to lazy to fix it. Anyway, it says Disk (maybe Read, can't remember) Drive Error when you boot it up. Would that be the HD? That was my first guess, but I decided it would be better to ask.

2. Since she obviously can't use her monitor (or RAM, which I took, well, for now anyway), I figured I could try a Dual Screen setup like I have heard a few of you talk about. How would I go about setting that up?

Basically more information is needed for the first question. mobo, drive, etc?
Second question, I'm confused. The monitor does not work? And there isn't any ram in the computer?
Please clarify.

No, her computer doesn't work, so I was just gonna take her monitor and set up a dual monitor thing, which some people have said they have. I already took out her RAM and put it in my computer.

She has a Dell, so whatever mobo they use. When you boot it up though, it says something like Disk read error, can't remember exact words, it's been a while. Anyway, would that be the Hard Drive?

Well if you have a video card that supports dual monitors, simply plug in the second one. Then just configure it in windows display properties, pretty simple.

you might want to contact dell if it's still under warrenty.

oh, i need a special card! guess that's out!

Yea, my dad is supposed to call them one day, but I still think it's just the HD. I might put my comp's in it tomorrow to see if it works.
