2 quick partition questions

My HD is partitioned like this:

1: (NTFS) Win2k
2: (FAT32) Win98SE
3: (NTFS) Data Storage

I want the Win2k boot menu to include the Win98SE partition, but I dunno how to set that up. I'm currently using a Power Quest Drive Image floppy to switch between the two OSes. The other thing is, how do I mount the NTFS data storage partition in the Win98SE OS? I want to make it my D:\ in both OSes.
 
Win98 can't read NTFS.

You installed win98 after win2k, right? I think if you just boot off the win2k CD and select "repair install" it'll set up the boot menu correctly. I'm not sure, you should ask in the OS forum.
 
M$ should make there own products compatable, I bet that if I had Linux it'd read the NTFS partition. Are you sure there's not some driver or hack to make 98 read NTFS?
 
For better or for worse, Microsoft has it's reasoning for doing things. Sometimes, they actually make sense.

Anyhoo, in what order did you install the OSes?

NTFS was designed for increased security that would be primarily used in business applications, not home use, therefore the home series of operating systems, (9x) do not have support for it. But seeing as MS is migrating to the NT kernel for home OSes as well, (XP), it now runs on NTFS
