What is the difference between the Toledo and Manchester cores? Their specs look identical except the Toledo has a 4400+ with 1 meg of cache.

Also, the dual-core Toledo and Manchester are both rated at 89 watts, while the AM2 versions are 65. I read somewhere that cooler versions of the 939 CPUs are coming out. Is this true, or is the person likely confusing the socket change?

It is unlikely that AMD will continue with the s939 platform. If you want an energy efficient processor then the only real option is going to be AM2 for AMD.

Also note that AMD seem to be discontinuing the 1MB cache models on the AM2 platform for all standard X2 CPUs. The FX still is a 2x1MB part.
