Note regarding ZZF Coolmax FAR MIR offer:

Ordered one of these from ZZF, but rebate looks like they tied to set up for rejection.

First condition is "Copy of Original Sales Receipt dated between 11/22/06 - 11/26/06 (**Online sales Confirmatio will not (be) accepted). Unit only shipped with a packing list.

Also requires self addressed stamped envelope with your return address!!!! (I think this must be a first for a MIR).

Have to cut out unit SN as well as UPC. Has a total of 5 specific requirements.

What a setup for rejection. I am sending what I can to document (online invoice and packing list). If it gets rejected, this will be my last business with ZZF.

I had a rebate with Kaser Corp several years ago for a 15.00 rebate for a cheap-o video card. Had the same Mickey Mouse requirements. Sent a self-addressed stamped envelope and I also had to register the product on their website (Like Mad Dod products's rebates).
The rebate also had to be postmarked within 3 days of purchase. I apparently missed it by a day and I was rejected. It was the only rebate I've lost in 7 or 8 years spanning hundreds. I did complain with the BBB over their rebate tactics, which as you stated, was setup for failure., one way or another.

I hope these PS's are better than the CompUSA 350W PS's that failed on me on two basic nforce rigs I had built for family members. I don't need huge power, just something that's not going to up and quit 1-2 years after install. I hope these fit the bill. In for the coolermaster and Ultra.

both of those pretty much suck. the cooler master RS 430 is an old atx 1.3 model. and coolmax just sucks.
