2 problems with IE

i have IE 6.2 and first off the status bar keeps dissapearing and its really annoying...i have to go back to the menu and click "view status bar"

2nd, whenever i try and open a movie thats an mpg in IE i get a screen like this-

and it wont play the movie....

1) about the status bar...I too get that alot, it's annoying.
2) I get the same for video clips too...also annoying...but to view the videos, right click on the link, and choose save target as....would like to know how to get streaming to work again though
