$160 in MIRs to contend with. Any brand but PNY and I would really like this deal.

Edit: No dealings with PNY myself, but their warranty policy leaves a sour taste in my mouth. When the product is EOL'd, your warranty is basically done. That is no more than 2 years after its debut, so if I drop almost $400 on video cards, I want it to last longer than 2 years worst case scenario. I buy eVGA every time I buy, and I've had to RMA once, but I received a better card in return as well.

Have you had bad luck with them? I have had two of their recent products and they worked very well. BUT, I don't hang on to parts long enough to burn them up I guess...

I don't cross post, but not everyone here looks in the hot deals... if you want SLI on the cheap here is your chance

Get'm while they're hot PAIR of PNY GTX 260's -- $305

You just did :p
[cross post]

And YMMV on $60 of those rebates .. i think i see a stipulation of one rebate per product

it looks like it is $380 for the pair if you do not make it back to 'go'
. . do not collect $60

Yeah, you can only use the $100 rebate. The $30 rebates also require the original UPC's.

That's TBD...

The combo rebate $100 states that both ORIGINAL UPCs are required.
The individual rebates accept the Original UPC OR Proof of Purchase symbol.

I see, maybe it could work then.

I had a PNY rebate denied because of that. It asked for the Proof of Purchase and even had a sample... PNY PoP is a trapezoid shaped graphic with text inside stating "proof of purchase." So, rebate was denied because "no UPC submitted" when the box (6600GT) did not even have a UPC on it. I called them and faxed them 3 times, and mailed (return receipt) once more, and they still jacked me over. :|

Yeah, thinking about that one still pisses me off.

I bet it does... why do these guys play rebate games? Ever do a VZW rebate? They come in two weeks and if there's a problem they call or email you immediatly,

As long as make copies of everything you submit with your rebate you'll never have problems. ATI didn't want to give me my rebate so I called them over the phone and with my backup copy proved to them that I did everything right. They then apologized and said it was a computer error. :)

I would rephrase "never" to "seldom." And yes, I still have copies of all the PNY stuff from three years ago.
