I have 2 PCs, each with soundblaster audigy cards in them. On one of the PCs, I have cambridge soundworks 4.1 speakers. How can I connect the two PCs together so that I can get sound from either one to the speakers? On the non-connected PC I have a Radeon 8500DV and I would like to send the TV sound through to the speakers.

It's quite simple; get 2 y-splitters. Then you can connect the front and rear channels into both PCs. Just don't play music on them at the same time. Hehe. As well, you will have to buy two additional cables to plug into one of the computers.

Build yourself a switch, I wouldn't want two lines plugged in at once, it's probably okay, but I'de go with a switch, it's easy to make too.

Good link - maybe a switch is the way to go. I tried (only cable I have) connecting the Line-out minijack to the aux-in-2 RCA jacks on the PC with the speakers. But all I get is a hum. And not Jethro Tull's Dynamo-hum either!
