I notice that a lot of power suppplies which are SLI certified only have 1 PCI-Express 6 pin connector. Is it necessary to pruchase a power supply with 2 PCI-Express 6 pin connectors if you want a system that can run 2 power hungry 6800GTs?
If yes, it seems strange that supposedly high end SLI power supplies like the Antec TruePower II 550 and Seasonic S12-500 only offer 1 PCI-Express 6 pin connector.
