2 old PC - 1 guy with 0% hw - Thinking of upgrade

I am thinking of upgrading the motherboard for one of them so that I can play skyrim and BF3.

I am zero in hardware but i intend to upgrade it my self

NO 1 is the one to upgrade.if your going to change the mobo.the rest is fine

#1 would be fine for both games.

I would upgrade the video card, grab a 5870 for around $150

It would be a very easy upgrade.


If you wanted to go a bit more complex, i would pick up a sata 2 ssd drive (dont get a sata 3, as they dont perform as well on a sata2 connection)
