2 notebook questions :)

Hi, just 2 questions here. The first is about the wireless PCMCIA/Cardbus adapters, do you just plug it into the notebook and then it can support wireless internet access with a router? The second, i wanted to hook up the notebook to a tv so that it displays what is on the notebook screen, would a USB TV Tuner do the trick?

I can answer your second question:

Just make sure you notebook has an s-video OUT on it. (most come with it now)

A USB TV Tuner will just allow you to watch tv onto the notebook screen. There however might be one out there that will let you display notebook screen onto tv, but Ive never used a tuner before so I dont know, I just stick to the s-video out port.

pretty much...you'll have to set up some setting probably, but it's pretty simple...

First yes you are right your pcmcia card plugs in to the laptop and you can surf away pending your router is set up right. and second you would want to use the Svideo out on the back of the laptop to display on your TV not a USB tvtuner card to do that. the tuner card lets you watch TV on ur laptop not the other way round.
