I signed up for AT forums at home... but I can't login from work. You can only login to AT forums from the original PC - or is it something else? Like I forgot to explicitly LOG-OUT of my home PC?

I see postings that have bold text at the bottom with things Anandtech Moderators say. They are very amusing. Did the user put it there? or can AT Moderators automatically stick tech into your footer?

Thanks

Hmmm... your office doesn't use AOL to connect to the Internet, does it? Any connections from AOL cannot post in the forums.

And messages like the one in my signature are placed there by individual users. A moderator left the message below in a particular thread and I found it hilarious, so I put it there for all to see. I would guess the moderators have access to alter a users signature, but I haven't seen it happen.

I used to have AOL and I could not log on. I heard certain conections have been banned.

If your work ISP is AOL, or any other IP address that caused us too much trouble, the IP address may be banned. ALL AOL addresses are banned.

Well your q was answered by a mod. You should be all set now. I new I was correct! AOL sux anyway so it doesn't need to be in a AT. AT is to hot for AOL. I am glad AOL isn't allowed their sevice was annoying all those pop ups and that built in firewall. Youve heard it before that one that when activated it says:"Good by". ILAT
