13. Hop back on the 6 train and go to Union Square. There's always something going on here. Street performers, bands, farmer's market, etc. For a great photo op, go Filene's Basement which is on the 4th floor of the building opposite Union Sq.

Here are the maps - updated them ... slow day at work =P

In the last map, I've red-boxed cheap but excellent places, places to hang out, etc. to grab a bite.

you should walk to Brooklyn Bridge from WTC, that stop is very short, J&R is in the way if u need to get a camera or stuff. to me the area around bryant park is kinda boring, i think u should make a quick pass of that, and spend more time on the later parts like astor's place or union square.

I'd walk - but if you're a tourist not used to the cold ... well, this is NYC's coldest winter in 30 years :\

OH, I noticed you circled momofuku noodle bar. A few weeks ago NPR broadcast a 30 minute interview with the head chef. Sounds awesome. Apparently they serve badass raman noodles and pork buns.
