Nah. Default Gateways are only used to access networks that the PC doesn't have direct access to (doesn't have a NIC that includes the wanted IP address within the address range included in the IP / Subnet Mask of the NIC.Originally posted by: ezkim0x
earlier I had tried changing my DNS IP on the one I didn't want to access the internet on.. I figured if I removed the default gateway I wouldn't be able to connect to the other computers on the LAN. however I still can.
