2 nails 1 foot

I was at my friends house last night and went to use the washroom in his basement. As I was slowly walking around in the dark feeling for the light switch, I stumbled, knocked down a 2x4 that had two nails on it (he's renovating his basement) and managed to step onto both nails with my foot.

My foot really hurts.

Tetanus, and yes, do it. This is not good. Just go to the doc and get the shot, it's better than potentially getting tetanus from the potentially rusty nail, and potentially dying.

I had one 5 years ago. I went to the doctor anyway, but she said I was still good, but to come back for some antibiotics if it looks like it's getting infected.

Ouch that sounds painful. I've been around quite a lot of wood with nails sticking out but I've never been unfortunate enough to have an incident happen.

Just a PSA, you can get tetanus just as easily from a shiny, new nail as you can a rusty old one, folks.
