2 Mice, One Computer

Is there a way to set up two different mice (one that I prefer and one that my wife prefers) so that one can be enabled at a time?

Thanks,
Buster

Sure there is 🙂

Just get a USB mouse. I have a regular ps2 scroll mouse, and a Intellimouse Trackball USB hooked up to my comp, and I can use either one any time, no switching anything off or on, just which ever one I grab works 🙂

Hope this helps

Yea, if you go with either a USB or a PS/2 mouse, or two USB mice, you can use them both at the same time if you wanted to 🙂 ALthough that gets confusing...

Yup, just as has already been said.

Ive got 2 mice and 2 keyboards hooked up to my machine just now....ive got a Logitech Codless Desktop Optical connected to a USB port (1 port for the base station which handles both kb and mouse) and i use the keyboard as my main one...i dont really use the mouse though, i bought an Intellimouse Explorer 3.0 the day after i got it, and i use that as my main mouse on the PS/2 port, the cordless one spends ost of its time idle on the desk but its useful for watching stuff from across the rom as i can just grab it and walk off hehe. I have a second keyboard hooked up for the purpose of allowing my mum to use the machine for typing, cause theres no way in hell ill left her use this keyboard, shes a typist and you can literally hear her hitting the keys from through the house....not my keyboard, no way 🙂
