Green...? Can you take a pic and show the crowd...?

Luckily I am still here, changing out the power steering fluid a few times reservoir method. Waiting for the engine to cool

Unless someone has put the european type brake fluid in which is totaly wrong for your car then it may be an algae growth in either case you need to for sure flush the entire system...

Looks rather strange for sure...

Yea its most likely Algae, since other Mazda 6 owners talk about the same thing. Dating back to 06 lol

Its another Mazda Car "issue" but Mazda does not see it as one. no TSB or Recall for the Fluid being contaminated with algae. People said they had it happen to them in 15k miles!

On tightening the bleeders-

What if We marked how they are now, then just re-tightened them to the mark?

I am not even gonna touch this...everyone here knows how I feel about Mazda and the issues they claim are not issues. On a bright note, however, Mazda agreed to reimburse me for my steering pump labor costs since there was a recall.

nope. loosening and tightening screws changes the torque at the previous positions. Just hand tighten, then give it a light sung with your wench.

That color is not abnormal at all. That looks like the transition color from good to need to replaced fluid. It will turn light brown if you keep it. AT that point, you want to replace it. That said, there is no harm is changing it now.
