2 Loop Water Cooling system.

So a friend of mine suggested that I try a "2 loop" water cooling system if I'm going to atempt a highly overclocked rig.

Basicly there would be a dedicated pump and radiator with a common resivior just for the CPU, and then the other two blocks, and maybe a HDD cooler would have their own pump and seperate radiator.

So my question is: IHow many degrees will the system drop with a split system? Also, is the few degrees saved from splitting the CPU off from the rest of the water cooling system worth the extra costs?
