Haha, I'm watchin' an old episode of SNL on NBC right now and MC Hammer is on singing 2 Legit to Quit.

I heard that his a$$ was broke now...I wonder if he's sitting in his trailer watchin' the same episode? 😉
 
Yeah, he's broke, lives in Fremont, CA. I saw him eating at Denny's. Some of my friends got his autograph on a napkin, just to hassle the guy.

It amazes me how a guy who had $33 million could lose it so quickly. I'd spend $13 million and live off the interest on the other $20 million.
 
It was funny, he used to have this mansion in Fremont, but he had to sell it. People just call it the Hammer Mansion.

I really don't find it funny when people loose all their money and are bascially worse off than most middle-class people...happened to MANY old movie actors and I suppose people like Hammer too.

everyone's gotta be cappin' on hammer, but you know he was fresh. NO one was cooler back then. Everyone should do themselves a favor, and go to www.launch.com to watch his 2 legit to quit music video. Remember, look under Hammer, since he changed his name from MC Hammer after the first album.

VH1 had a behind the music on him. Well worth watching if you were a fan. He basically spent like he was going to be on top forever. He spent over 10 mil on his house alone. He put all his friends on his payroll, made bad investments, and spent like there was no tommorrow. I hear there might be a movie based on his life.
 
Easy come, easy go. Soooo many people get a whack of cash and blow it and then when the cash stops coming they have nothing to show for it. Pretty pathetic.
 
I saw a clip of his evangelist show on the Daily Show. For some reason, he was addressing the idea that Jesus had sex with his disciples (?), and then he added, &quot;I know Jesus wasn't no sissy!&quot; Weird.
 
LOL I used to own the pants...and remember that Hammer cartoon that used to be on Saturday mornings, where he'd float around by his pants? LMAO That was the funniest junk i'd EVER seen...I still got Vanilla Ice performing on SNL on my FTP server.. (40mb)
