That is an awesome deal, I might just have to do that to replace a couple of chairs that I have that are getting old and killing my back.

These chairs are not very comfortable. If you're suffering a back problem then definitely pass on it.

The design is not comfortable? Or the quality is too cheap, meaning comfortability issues?

Thanks OP,

These chairs are great for having people over, LAN party ect... But, horrible for daily use. I got 2 a couple years ago for $1.80 each AR, not before some grief from the manager though.

EDIT: The leather on one split after 1 month, on the seating surface. I tend to sit on the chair with my legs crossed though.

EDIT 2: "Indian style"

What is their return policy if these turn out to be garbage? Can I return it in-store?

Yes, you can retrun it in store. Or, call them, they will pick it up if you're within their route.

Hmm... well I guess anything is better than some really beat up chairs.

This el cheapo I got a while back from Staples is fine for me with no problems, I doubt this'd be any more problematic for me

These chairs are alright, but not the most comfortable chairs ever. Don't bother putting the little screw cover things in because they will fall out (I'm surprised a baby hasn't choked yielding a lawsuit).

Ahhh, I'm glad that you posted and I avoided making a purchasing mistake. I have been looking for a replacement for my leather chair from staples that is no good for my posture.

I ordered two of these also. These are the exact same ones that I have at work. There is one problem that occurs on about 25% of the chairs (we have like 60 of them in the office). That is basically that they tilt a little to the right when you sit in them. It seems like whatever part they sit on that keeps them straight up and down lets them tilt ever so slightly to the right. So you will find that people in our office have switched them out with the ones in the conference rooms to get the better ones. So every time you go into a conference room, all of the chairs tilt slightly. Now these may be an updated version of the ones we have, but they are the same brand and style.

On the note of comfort. It did take a while to get used to the chairs at first. Especially since I spent $300 on a great chair for at home. But after a while your body will get used to the chair and you will not notice it. I have sat in some chairs where you are constantly adjusting in the seat, or your legs seem to fall asleep or things like that. But this chair hasn't had that happen for me yet. It is a cheaper chair though. That list price of $209 is a joke. It would more likely be a retail $125 chair. So still a good deal, but nowhere near all the functions you would get from a $200+ chair.

Almost by definition, cheap chairs are poor ergonomically. If they spent the money on ergo-design, the chairs would be more expensive. :)

Designed for comfortable casual use. Recommended for professionals who work in a seated position for up to three hours a day.
I sat in it in store for 5 min, not very comfy. If you sit in it for a few min a day maybe... :p

does anyone know if i buy a couple more, if i can reuse a coupon? I didn't purchase it with my account i have with them, but had it shipped to my home address. I guess, I could ask a neighbor to receive the package for me if necessary. But I was just thinking about those times when we have people come over to play games around our coffee table, or come over to watch movies. right now they are sitting on the floor. But these things would work great for those kinds of situations. I could probably get a couple more of these.

Office Depot locally here has them for $39.99 at the door. No coupon required.
