2 Keyboards and 1 power supply dead

2 keyboards completely dead and 1 power supply in the past month, yet the computer hasn't moved in the past 6 years. It is plugged into a surge protector power bar (has the green light on it lit up) Mouse and the rest of the computer works fine, just the keyboard is dead. I plugged it into my KVM and the computer works. Plugged the keyboards into a PC and definitely dead.

Just wondering what you guys think may be the cause for this? I'm leaning towards a motherboard problem, the capacitors look fine on it though and no distinct burn marks. It is an (cough cough) e-Machine, my Dad's. 🙂

Any ideas?
