2 iTunes question

QueBert

Lifer
I Googled this and found confusing and conflicting answers. I have a Hackintosh and I want my iTunes on OSX & Win 7 to mirror one another. Right now if I try to sync in Windows it says it will erase the content on my iPod and resync it. I have the same library and I don't want to do manual syncing.

2nd question, I'm working with smart playlists for my working out. I had it set up a year or so ago but kind of forgot the flow of things. Here is what I'm after. Multiple smart playlists, the 1st picks randomly from my 1st I have it set to sync a random song that hasn't been played in the past week from a regular playlist. Same with 3 other playlists. And I have a main smart playlist that contains the 4 other smart playlists. Is this the best way to go about this?

You can copy your iTunes library key from one machine to the other one.. but that's a total pain.. messes with a few things internally...AFAIK Manual is the only way to use two computers for syncing.
--I haven't done this for a while so I'm not sure if it still works, but its something to go by I guess..

Thanks for the link, I'm slow and was thinking manual isn't what I want, but it's exactly what I want since I don't sync anything 🙂
