I am currently using an 80gb WD Sata drive. I am upgrading my pc next week and am thinking about adding a 2nd drive. I dont want to RAID or anything i was just thinking maybe ill buy a 200gig or so drive and use it for storage. Is there anything i need to know about hooking up a 2nd HD? Ive never had more than one hooked up before.

So i just go about it normally and install my OS and my Apps on the main drive. But then what do i do to the 2nd one? Anything? (besides format it obviously)
 
You don't have to reinstall windows, just turn off the PC, plug the new drive in and turn it on. You may have to format it but that can be done in XP using a tool in system tools. No need to use XP cd or anything else.
 
Im doing a complete overhaul on my system so i have to reinstall Windows. My main concern was just what, if anything i had to do for everything to work right.
