2 graphics cards in Win2K Pro ?

I've ordered a Geforce 2 Pro card to replace my aging G400.
As I expect the new card to have horrible 2D quality, I was wondering if it would be possible to install a PCI card (have a Matrox Mystique) and use that as primary display while using the Geforce 2 Pro for 3D ?
And if it is, how do I set it up in Win2K Pro ?

2000 is very good about that. you could have the pro set as primary in BIOS, and check "extend my desktop" box, then "use this [matrox] as my primary monitor". this actually works on 2000 whereas I've never seen 98 wrest control from a wretched AGP card if you want to use both.
