2 "game controlers" at once? (flight sticks & wheel?)

my cow-workers father is really into flight sims and racing games. he has the flight controlers, and the full-on racing wheel and pedals.

anyway, he doesnt know ass from elbow with computers. (hes like 70) he has ppl from some computer shop comming over to help him (for $), and they can't figure out how to set him up to leave both sets of controllers connected to the computer at the same time (apparently one is usb, and one is game port). he wants to do this so he doesn't have to recalibrate every time he reconnects the stuff.

is this possible? or is there some why to save the calibration so when he switches between them he doesnt have to recalibrate? assume he's running 95 or 98.

TIA

they should be fine if they stay connected. What he should have is each controller listed separately in the Control Panel->Game Controller applet. Then it's up to the game to specify which controller is used. Especially with one being USB, it should work fine..

It should work fine. I have had up to 3 controllers hooked to my computer, 2 usb and one gameport controller. Just make sure there is a listing for each one of them in game controllers under control panel.
