What a foolish thing to say. What part is it that makes you better- not taking notes when you hear something interesting, or not talking to others to try to increase your understanding? Or do you think you know that nobody could possibly learn anything worthwhile in my church, even though you don't know what is taught there? Is it that all churches are equally bad, and therefore you know enough about my church to judge it, even though you don't know which one it is? What makes you so much more enlightened than me that you're willing to put me down like this with so little information?

You don't know jack about me or my church, but you're still willing to act as if you did. Reacting without thinking, mocking without understanding, jumping to conclusions without relevant supporting evidence. And you say I'm the brainwashed sheep? At least I try to understand before I open my mouth. My church is very different from most churches, and I am very different from most people. You could have easily spared yourself looking like a jerk if you'd just paid attention to my sig or my earlier post.

But mistakes are there for us to learn from. I make plenty of them. I hope you learn from this one.

Seventeen is only jailbait in certain places. I dated a 17 year old when I was 23 and had her parents blessing to sleep with her....I must have since her mom once told me directly that she needed to get her daughter on the pill so I didn't get her pregnant.

were you dropped on your head?

Yea. :( But, luckily for me I still have enough mental capacity to understand that sentences begin with capital letters. Now go think up another super original and witty retort, maybe lead paint chips this time?

Mistake? I think not. I'm not so weak that I need a crutch like religion to make me feel like a productive member of society and a "good, honest member of my Christian Community."

Your church is no different than the other 23,323,323 (number guesstimated) Christian/Protestant/Lutheran/Catholic/Muslim/Buddhist/Hindu churches out there. You think "your God" is better than everyone else's and your pastor has all the answers.

I was raised Roman Catholic. I ENDURED 13 years of RC Schooling. There's not a damn thing you can tell me about religion that I don't already know. It's all fake and 75% of the people on earth have bought into it.

Good luck with your crutch; hope it holds you up during "Tests of my faith."

Only weak people go to church? I detested church throughout high school and partially beyond, and only after I started college, a job, providing for myself, and becoming an electrical engineer did I become an active member. Let me guess - physics and biology disprove religion, right? Modern science has exactly zero to do with religion unless you are either a fanatic or an idiot. If you think all people who go to church are on a crutch, you are sadly mistaken. Some probably are, but if they weren't using church as the crutch, it would be something else, which really means the person is weak, not the institution they are choosing to be a part of as their support. Weak people need help and if they turn to church, good for them. If they decide to take up a sport/hobby, good for them. Try to be a little more irrationally biased (if you can).

If you don't believe it, that is certainly your right, but it is clear that you either are ignorant (probably) or you've never really had a decent talk with someone about the subject while having an open mind. I love it when people tell me I am a close-minded retard because I believe in God. I don't even say anything back anymore because it is funny to watch the fireworks when I didn't even say anything to provoke the confrontation. You are one of those people, but since I am currently bored I decided to respond.

True with #2, I rarely go to church lately but when I do, all I see are Lexuses, Hummers, Beamers, Infinitis, and Mercedes.

So, can we deduce that going to church correlates somehow with higher income and better cars?

I will refrain from picking this post apart. Anyone who is able to learn the lesson contained in it has already done so, and those who haven't already won't likely be helped by anything I have to say. However, the real reason I will refrain is you saying you spent 13 years in a RC school. I am honestly sorry for that. RC is completely different from what I believe and understand to be true and right, to put it very mildly. I absolutely believe that "endured" is the word for it, and I empathize. This is probably the reason you posted that nonsense- I suspect your defensiveness triggered an emotional response due to your bad experiences. I've done that kind of thing many times. Just please stop thinking you know everything about religion or about me, because you obviously don't. And don't be so rude, eh? Even when you're pissed. Thanks.

Science? REAL science? No. People who pretend they know things they don't know, and who teach their unproven impressions as solid unquestionable fact, especially to children? Yes.
