I just bought a new enermax case with room for 4 80mm fans and one 120,it has an 80mm blow hole two rear and one side and a 120mm in the front. It came with a fan blowing into the case already installed in the side and i had one from my old case which i put blowing out through the blow hole (This cause about a 5-10 degree drop in temp from my old case) . I then bought a new 80mm fan and installed that blowing out of the back and my temerature went up!. I thought this was maybe because of orientation so i turned it round to blow into the case that again raised my temperature. Does anyone know why this is? Where would i be better putting this fan and blowing which way? i dont think i really need it as my temps are 47/32 after running seti for 48 hours non stop on a warm day but seen as i have it i may aswell put it to use. Any ideas? Thanks

im really not sure, i dont think more fans are always better, i think the key is to get the right direction of air flow. i think sometimes when people have too many fans, the air circulates too much inside the case instead of one general flowing direction, causing the hot air to stay inside and just heat up some more. or maybe the weather is changing where you are and you just dont notice it that much. i say stick with whatever you notice the cooler temps at.
