$2 DVD-R and $3 DVD-RW Media ($2 possibly)

this guy posted a link about dvd-r
I totally forgot to post this, coz I never thought about it as a deal
now that I think twice it's pretty good

http://www.qtccdr.com/cgi-bin/index.cfm

$2 for DVD-R
$3 for DVD-RW (which IMHO is fscking amazing being that normally places like retail stores sell them for >$10)

concerning the DVD-RW is listed from the same store for $2 on pricewatch so with phone order you might get it for that price if you call them
I ordered from them the first time about a week ago and I just noticed this pricewatch thing

shipping was $10 for 30 of them so that was kind of steep but it definitely comes out to be cheaper overall
they shipped the item about 2-3 hours after I placed my order so they are fast

both of em are Princo brand
I've used them in my Pioneer DVR-A03 and they work in Pioneer DV-434 and Sony DAV-S300 home DVD players without any problems

hope this helps someone

Anyone has any experience with Princo Brand DVD-r & DVR-rw? My PS2 is very picky about generic DVD media.

I believe Princo is an actual manufacturer. Anyway, I've heard good things about their cd-r's but don't know about these specifically.

for home dvd players they work perfectly...

yeah and I also I heard good things about princo cd-rs and cd-rws

This place that sells generic DVD-r for $1.98 each, but don't know how good disk is and don't know how much shipping is either.

looks good, I have princo dvd-rw's that work perfectly..i've noticed that as some dvd-r media varies in quality (and skips in my standalones), dvd-rw media basically never skips (at least for me).

I have used it in three different standalones and no skipping or anything like that....

very happy with the quality....

I'm going to give them a try, I've been using TDK and Verbatim.

BTW, what's the best software for burning DVD-R's? I tried Nero but the disc's didn't work in my DVD players.

for movies, I really like neoDVD 2.0, but if you're simply backing up movies that originated on a single layered dvd, you can use dvddecrypter as it can create a burnable image while still using its normal DeCSS routines...
