Yes, the officials in the ACC basketball and refs for football are absolutely horrible.

Dude..were you at the game last night? Holy shit...if I wouldn't have gotten kicked out of pep band and put in jail..I wouldve ran on the court and attempted to beat the sh!t out of the officials. Every single time we had some momentum going...they called a foul on the other end.

Well, if you're happy with another loss in the NCAA's that's okay. I'll take an ACC title and a bit earlier exit from the NCAA's, personally.
Duke has no chance to win the NCAA's. Not deep enough, and there won't be ACC refs to bail them out when other teams make runs I'm sure there will be a conference at ACC headquarters after the refs called the game fairly even last night.

Are you serious? The refs were calling the most bs fouls on duke yesterday. Granted Duke plays tough defense, but not tough enough to have 3 starters and 1 key bench foul out.

Try reading my post again. I indicated that there will be a conference at ACC headquarters because Dook DID NOT get the best of the officiating last night.
And they most certainly usually do.....just like UNC did when Dean Smith was coach.

Re-read my post again. You obviously didn't understand it. I explained it just above, too.

And you're wrong.....Dook deserves to be on the bad end of the officiating. They DO foul that much, it's just hardly ever called.

You evidently didn't see the first Duke/Maryland game, or the Duke/VT game, or countless other Dook/xxx games in the ACC.

its well known that the reason duke/md games are close is because gary williams has publicly called out refs and the acc for giving duke preference (they're the college bball ratings darlings; theres a january wash post article on them). ever since, the duke foul advantage has lessened when playing md. i remember a few years back gary williams and mike k almost came to blows after gary out-grilled the refs to his side.

but yea, it was a great game to watch, UMD just pulled it off ...

its funny cause no matter how bad UMD is any given year, they always find a way to beaet duke atleast one time. this time however, it was 2 times this season 😛
