Has anyone ever tried to install 2 dual video cards in the same computer? I'm wondering if it will work. Specifically, 1 Matrox Millennium G450 or G550 AGP slot and 1 Matrox Millennium G450 PCI slot .. to get a quad display instead of using a quad video card. Since a quad video card like Appian Rushmore costs more than $500 (Matrox quad cards are over $700) I 'm wondering if i could save some money and buy 2 dual video cards instead of buying one quad card. The Matrox G450 or G550 are relatively cheap @around $100/each.

Should work.
Why do you need 4 monitors anyway.
If you can get away with 3, then one of the Parhelia range will be good you you. There are several of them now.

I wanted 4 monitors for stock trading. I'm just trying to go the budget route in getting a quad display by using the G550 and G450 if it would work.
