2 computers on 1 monitor

I have 1 computer hooked up to the VGA port on my monitor and the other machine is hooked up to the same monitor in the DVI port.

Is there a way to hotswitch between the 2 computers on my monitor without having to take out the cables?

There should be an input selection on the LCD.

Or use a KVM switch; much easier to deal with IMO.
