What kind of switch would i need so that i could connect two computers to one monitor? I have two comps but only enough room for one monitor and its a pain in the neck to switch between the two.
You could get just a monitor switchbox, but if you want to only have one keyboard and mouse shared between the two computers go with a KVM switch. Belkin makes a really nice KVM switch that I use between two of my several computers. I'm sure if you do a search you will be able to find info on them. There are usually a few of them for sale/trade in the for sale/trade forum here at Anandtech.

Belkin make average KVM switches. A better choice would be Raritan or Cybex, as these two companies make the best KVM switches on the market. Belkins are quite cheap, and very nasty. Although they do have sound and USB switching for their KVM switches, which could be handy if your setup doesn't include a sterio of some kind.
