1. I don't want to pay for 2 visits. Their specific wording was "to get x-rays and to see what kind of filling you need". It seems like they're giving me the run around, to get me in twice. One of the cavities is on the top of one of my bottom molars, the other is on the side one of my top ones. The composite filling type that cures with UV light is fine for both of these.
2. Last time when I came in for cavities they said they wouldn't work without a panoramic xray. What? Panoramic Xrays are not high enough resolution to show tooth decay (especially cavities). Maybe they simply do this to make sure they don't mess up something that's there? Still, seems odd to me.
