2 Boxes of Cohiba Cigars - $90 (80+% off)

linikified

now how to smoke them w/o the wife smelliong them 🙂

actually from what I've heard they are supposed to be a good brand (of course not as good as good as cuban cohibas)

If these are the dominicans shouldn't they be red dots?

Love the red dot's, need to get another igloo-door for these...

Anyone gotten these yet? The band and boxes displayed don't look like what i am used to as the dominicans.

I like how they list the normal price as $235. This is what it would cost for a box of Cuban Cohibas (from a duty free store). I've seen these go for about $35-50 a box on ubid (don't ever buy from ubid...ever).

While there may be some good values here, be VERY careful as there are a lot of overinflated prices too. For example, Arturo Fuente Curly Head Deluxe cigars are listed on this site for $76.57, which is easily $20 to $30 higher than other internet (or even B&M) retailers.

Caveat Emptor!

Edit: Also note the Arturo Fuente 8-5-8 cigars...the natural and maduro have the same "msrp", but the naturals, which are in-stock, are selling for $119.13 while the maduros, being out-of-stock, are listed at $98.13. Strange...very strange! 🙂

Edit revisited: If you go to the regular section of cigars, under Cohiba Red Dot, the names of the cigars in the special (Esplendidos and Torpedos) are not listed, so my guess would be that the specials are not Cohiba Red Dots; probably seconds or something like that.

I personally give most of my business to JR's and Holts.

Amen, been picking up alot of Upmanns at JR's lately. Yummy!!!

It would be nice to get a deal on Red Dots, they are a fine cigar. I would still prefer La Glorias, these would probably be an occasional alternative.

Any good deals for "starter". I mean I have no idea about brands and anything. Just to try. They sample:
Link is worth the money ?

If you're getting started, I'd recommend just going to a local store (i.e. the "Up In Smoke"-type stores in many malls).

That way you get to actually feel/smell/etc. the cigars and can pester the person who works there with questions. I'm sure there's some clueless people working there (there always are anywhere), but the people I've talked to have always been very knowledgable.

They only have Red Dots at JRCigar and none in these sizes, so I couldnt compare pricing...

Has anybody received these yet? I'm dying to buy them, but would like some feedback on this stogies before I do!
