First off Nice to meet everyone here,This forum looks good!
Here's my situation I'm not Mr.Pimp daddy money bags and I don't foresee the purchase of any 4 k monitors anytime soon,I'm using hdtv for atleast another few years...that's what my wife says....And I never asked advice on a forum..So OK here it goes.
Now! I just sold my Gtx 570 while it was still worth a little money. My mobo says it is crossfirex ready,But it has intel h67 chipset and a sandy bridge core processor.. Which is wierd because I heard Intel don't get along with AMD to well.. Driver issues and the likes..
I wasn't gaming when I bought the Mobo, But now that I am a crossfirex ready board with an Intel chipset makes as much sense to me as a pan-handler, who can stand all day in the sun with a will work for food sign, but doesn't even want to work in doors where it's cool!!!
I'm not card biased I just want what's the best in my situation? it would be nice to be able to put a 280x in there and go crossfire in another year or 2 when i have the money... But is that a good idea with the Intel chipset?
I mean there are people selling their Amd 280x on eBay right now because they say to many driver issues? Oh and, I will also have to buy a new power supply
SOOOOOOOO
Well I was thinking Hell! I'll just get a gtx 770 then! The heck with it! and just be happy with it because I know it will work,I know it will fit,And I wont have to buy a power supply for it......But wait a minute,My board is not sli ready so I'll be stuck with that a loooong time..
Hmmmmmm
well i plan on spending 200-ish for a card on eBay and get whats best... I think the Amd 280x but I don't want driver issues and artifacts, black squares...So this is why I posted.. Any advice is welcome I'll let you know if It helps and give you a million:thumbsup: and 100 kudos
Thanks for the help , RR
