One downside to this product. I just spoke with a CSR and she informed me that if you order more than one roll, you get just that, multiple rolls. So if you have a run over 30 feet, be ready to do the splice.

Despite that I'm in for 150 feet, great price. The best price I could find locally (SoCal) is about 79c/ft.

If you want a long run w/o splices, get 100' of 12 gauge extension cord ~$18 at Sam's or whoever.

Speaker wire test<---Kreggo

Not quite...The people at Stereo Review have tin ears. Not all wire sounds the same. Nor does any other piece of stereo equipment.

It's like saying all cars drive the same or all beer tastes the same.

Can anyone beat this deal on the Web or in California?

Buy 9 of them and it's free shipping...thinking of getting some for me and a buddy.

Are either of the FM antennas any good at that site? My sister needs both better FM reception and a greater distance between her stereo and her speakers. Anything else a good deal at that site?

I got in on the 40' deal over summer. The wiring is labeled "oxygen free" and uses very fine strands, bundled up into a few thicker strands which are twisted together. As I recall, at the time an order over $25 just reduced the shipping costs and wasn't free. It comes with gold-plated crimp-on connectors. The connectors were a bit brittle, and cracked when I crimped them, but they stayed on. The packaging looked a bit yellowed, like it's been sitting around for years.

WiseOne, I believe the stuff that Recoton HAD (think they're out) was flat cable, meaning you can run it up a wall and paint over it, and nobody will know you have wire there.

This is a pretty decent deal, but not as good as the last deal because the last deal was cheaper for more wire, plus gold-plated ends.

Looks like they're out of the flat wire. When I click on the link for it I get this message: Product does not exist in the database.
